50th Anniversary Celebration of his Life and Work
This small-scale exhibition of the works of Padraic Colum (1881-1972), showcases the special collection of Colum's work held at O'Reilly Library, DCU.
The exhibition shines a light on the richness of this special collection and represents one of the first combined analysis of both his children’s and adult texts.
The exhibition highlights the substantial body of work produced by Colum, which includes fiction, theatre, poetry, folklore, and legend.
This creative output is part a larger inter-institutional initiative and collaboration between DCU and TCD on Colum and his work in 2022 that includes a symposium and co-edited collection of essays.
